Since the year 1950, the North Fairhaven Improvement Association has hosted an annual Halloween Horribles Parade. People of all ages may dress in costume and march on Main Street from Benoit Square to St. Mary's Church.

Costumes are judged at different age levels from toddler to adult in the following categories: Scariest, Cutest/Prettiest, Most Original. Prizes donated by community businesses are awarded to the top three winners in each category and age group.

Free bags of Halloween treats are presented to each child and hot chocolate is served.
